Luzerne County · Northeastern Pennsylvania

Every neighbor deserves a clear path forward.

The Susquehanna Warrior Reserve connects veterans, youth, and families across Luzerne County to food, housing, and mental-health support — one coalition, one connected network of care.

What we do

One coalition. Three promises to Luzerne County.

Food on the table

NEPA Pantry Paths maps food pantries and community meals town by town — Wilkes-Barre to Hazleton, Nanticoke to the Back Mountain — with hours and eligibility up front.

A stable place to live

We connect veterans, youth aging out of care, and families in crisis to housing resources, with case coordination and peer support along the way.

Care for the caretakers

Restorative Luncheons and 24/7 confidential support for Luzerne County corrections officers and frontline workers who carry our community's hardest days.

"At the heart of everything we do is a commitment to dignity, transparency, and collective care."

SWR is a backbone organization — uniting county agencies, health systems, nonprofits, churches, and neighbors into one trauma-informed network across NEPA.

5K Run/Walk for Warriors + Finish Line Festival

Runners, walkers, and neighbors laced up on the Susquehanna Warrior Trail in Shickshinny for the SWR 5K, then stayed for the Finish Line Festival. Thank you to everyone who ran, walked, volunteered, sponsored, and cheered.

Stand with your neighbors.

Every gift widens a pathway — a meal found, a door opened, a warrior welcomed home.
