Housing Stability Partnership

Housing first. Dignity always.

Serving: Veterans, youth aging out of care, and families facing housing instability

The Susquehanna Warrior Reserve works to strengthen housing stability, trauma-informed support, and community connection across Northeastern Pennsylvania.

We connect people to available housing resources and wrap that in case coordination and peer support — because a key to a door is the beginning of stability, not the end.

In January 2026, SWR convened landlords, developers, funders, and community partners at the Wyoming Valley Chamber of Commerce to talk about Luzerne County's affordable-housing crisis — highlighting barriers, sharing available resources, and making programs easier for landlords and developers to join.

Our regional housing goals go further: Empower Houses, Housing First units, landlord protections, and a full housing continuum from emergency stabilization through transitional, long-term supportive, and independent housing.
